Abu Dhabi Police, represented by the Department of Community Police, considers the act of begging as an uncivilized nuisance and annoyance that preys upon sympathizers and deceives them into being cheated out of their money. Lt. Colonel Mubarak Bin Muhairom, Head of the Department of Community Police, called upon society members to cooperate with the police authorities and report instances of begging. “Combating the act of begging is a priority of the police, and the partnership between the police and members of society is essential to eradicating this social epidemic,” he said.

These remarks will be included in the radio address by the Head of the Department of Community Police, which will be broadcasted live on Tuesday.
