8 killed and 167 injured in accidents
Eight people were killed and 167 others were injured in 101 road accidents in Abu Dhabi and its suburbs in July, according to the Traffic and Patrols department.
Among the injured 18 were serious, 63 moderate and 86 minor injuries. The majority of accidents happened at pedestrian crossings and due to the motorists entering streets without checking for traffic from other directions.
