4 people injured in two road accidents in Abu Dhabi.
Four peoples were injured and one seriously in two accidents that occurred in Abu Dhabi during the past two days.
Four vehicles were involved in multiple collusion in one of the accident that occurred on Abu Dhabi Al Bahiya road early morning yesterday. The accident happened when one of the vehicles hit the road divider in the middle and three more vehicles hit the first one from the back as they were not keeping sufficient space between the vechicles, said First Lt. Rashid Humaid Al Yehyaie, director of investigations at the Al Mafraq traffic section.
The seriously injured person was taken to Al Rahba hospital.
The second accident occurred on Saturday morning on Al Ain Abu Dhabi road in a similar incident where three vehicles were involved and three persons injured .The injured were taken to Al Mafraq hospital.
Lt.Rashid said that the major causes of such accidents are due to over speeding and not keeping controllable distance between vehicles, carelessness and using mobiles while driving.
He cautioned the motorists to abstain from speeding and follow the traffic regulations to assure their safety as well as that of other road users.
