The ADP Traffic and Patrols Directorate continued its awareness program as 35 schoolboys from Al Amin primary school visited the premises of the directorate on Thursday, as part of the campaign themed “let us protect our youngsters from school accidents”.
The program of visits by schoolchildren to the directorate comes within community communication and partnership with Abu Dhabi Education Council to deepen concepts of traffic awareness among students in different stages, pointed out First Lt. Ayshah Al Zaabi, who is in charge of traffic awareness at the public relations section.
School children have been made aware of the efforts made to prevent traffic accidents and their dreadful impacts. Using documentaries and illustrative pictures, they have been enlightened about the meanings of traffic signals, safe road crossing, risks of driving bikes, and playing football on the roads.
