34710 licences issued in 3months

The vehicles and drivers licencing department have issued 34710 licences during the last three months from January till the 31st of March. This includes the total registration, replacements and new licences issued by the department.
Lt.Col.Mohammed Mayoof Al Kitbi, director of the department said that among the total 11528 were new licences. Of these 8566, issued in Abu Dhabi, 1988 in Al Ain and 974 from the western region. Of the total number of 19113 renewals, 11897 were in Abu Dhabi, 6411 in Al Ain and 508 in the western region. 4068 licences were also replaced added Al Kitbi.
