13 children hurt in bus accident
Thirteen students all boys from a preparatory school was hurt while the bus they were traveling crashed in to a stationary truck near Zayed military city.
The driver of the bus probably could not see the parked truck due to heavy fog, said the police source.
Colonel Hamed Al Shamsi director of the traffic and patrols department in Abu Dhabi police said the injured children were treated for minor injuries at the Mafrak hospital and was discharged later.
He urged the motorists to be extra cautious while driving on foggy conditions when the visibility is very poor and assure the safety of all.
