Workshop to Discuss Upgrading Strategic Indicators at Ras Al Khaimah Police
The Strategy and Performance Development Department at the Ministry of Interior discussed ways to upgrade the strategic performance across all police general headquarters affiliated to the Ministry of Interior during a specialized workshop in Ras Al Khaimah.
Colonel Ali Mohammed Al Qorsi, Head of the Strategy and Performance Development Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, praised the efforts exerted by the General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior. He stressed on the importance of providing full support and assistance to all action designed to upgrade the strategic and operational performance indicators for the Ministry of Interior’s strategic plan for 2017-2021.
The Institutional performance Section at the MoI’s Strategy and Performance Development Department explained the most important focus areas of the new strategic plan, the work mechanism to upgrade performance indicators, and the action plan for the upcoming period.
Such workshops are considered an essential and important database across the various sectors and departments of the ministry regarding the outcomes and strategic performance indicators’ data pertaining to the three focus areas: the Correctional and Punitive Establishments, Traffic, and crime. The workshops also contribute to supporting the MoI’s strategic plan and the Federal Government’s vision, aimed at achieving the highest level of excellence in the provided police and security services.
The workshop activities were attended by directors general, heads of departments, and Officers at the different departments and sections of Strategy and Performance Development at the Ministry of Interior.
