Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, met with Kang Sin-Myeong, the National Police Commissioner of the Republic of Korea, and his accompanying delegation. They met on Monday at HH Sheikh Saif’s office at the ministry.

During the meeting, the attendees discussed various issues of common interest as well as methods to promote cooperation and coordination between the UAE and the Republic of Korea across various police and security fields.

The meeting was attended by Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior; Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Major General Mohammed Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary of Resources and Support Services; Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior; Major General Abdul Aziz Maktoum Al Shareefi, Director General of Protective Security at the Ministry; and a number of officers from the MoI. On behalf of the Republic of Korean, the meeting was attended by Lee Seung Ji Yong, Director General of the Foreign Affairs; Lee Si Young Ki, Director General of the Korean Police - Public Security; Yu Yum Ben, Head of the Foreign Affairs Office - Department of Planning; and a number of officials from the Korean police.
