Sharjah Air wing Department, at the General Directorate of Security Support at the General Secretariat of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, participated in the activities of the 4th GCC United Inmates Week organized by Sharjah Police General Headquarters. The Air Wing displayed the flight simulator device, and the tools used in search and rescue operations.
The audience was also introduced to the nature of the department’s work and the services it provides, the tasks and duties performed by its staff, the hardware and equipment used in search and rescue operations. The aim of this is to transfer the knowledge to the audience, educate them and build communication channels between the Air Wing and the members of the society.
The participation of the Air Wing included organizing a special event for kids under the theme “I am the little pilot” aiming to build aspirations and visions of children to create a profession for them in the future.
