The Sharjah Air Wing Section, affiliated to the Directorate General of Security Support at the General Secretariat of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, is taking part in the event titled “I am a little pilot”, organized by the Sharjah Discovery Center at the Sharjah Museums Department. As a part of this participation, the section showcases the flight simulator and the various tools used in search and rescue operations.
During the event that will continue until January 15, Children in particular and members of the public in general will be acquainted with the nature of work carried out by rescuers at the Air Wing Section, and the tasks and duties entrusted to them. They will also learn about the equipment and tools used in search and rescue operations, and air ambulance. They will experience the thrill of piloting an aircraft using the flight simulator, and will participate with drawings on the theme of “I want to become a pilot”.
“I am a little pilot” event also includes a photo exhibition that documents the efforts and duties of the Air Wing Section rescuers, in addition to photos of employees in charge of aircraft maintenance.
