A delegation from the Saudi Arabia‘s Higher Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS) headed by Brigadier Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Ageel, Secretary General of the HCIS, visited the General Directorate of Guards and Special Tasks at the Abu Dhabi Police (ADP).

Brigadier Mubarak Abdullah Al Muhairi, Director General of Guards and Special Tasks at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ) stressed that the visit comes in line with the framework of training and advisory cooperation. “It aims to exchange information and experiences, and field exercises between the ADP and the HCIS in Saudi Arabia, as well as to get acquainted with the practices and experiences that suit the needs of the two countries,” he added.

The delegation was briefed on the work of the General Directorate of Guards and Special Tasks, its organizational structure, its strategy, as well as the tasks and duties undertaken by its affiliated departments.

The members of the delegation also visited the Special Tasks Department and the Government and Diplomatic Premises Protection Department. Present during the visit were Colonel Rashid Suhail Al Ali, Deputy Director General of Guards and Special Tasks; Colonel Rashid Saeed Al Shamesi, Head of the Force 7 Department; Colonel Matar Musbah Al Dhaheri, Head of the Special Tasks Department; Colonel Saeed Ateeq Al Kuwaiti, Head of the Government and Diplomatic Premises Protection Department, along with a number of officers from the Department.

The Saudi delegation included in addition to Colonel Al Ageel; Colonel Eng. Abdullah Al Ameri, Head of the Petroleum Facilities Department, and  Secretary Mohammad Al Zubaa.
