The Al Ain Licensing Section at the Abu Dhabi Police Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department carried out a successful mock drill to evacuate the Section’s main building. During the operation, paramedics administered first aid to the injured and provided them with medical care, while staff members and customers were evacuated in record time. The drill aims to test the rescue capabilities and readiness of emergency teams in emergency situations.

Teams from the the Civil Defense, Ambulance and other supporting police entities were immediately dispatched to the scene, and managed to evacuate staff members and customers  according to the scenario,  and after receiving notification on the outbreak of a ‘fire’ in the building.

Colonel Ali Salem Al Dir’e, Chief of Vehicle Licensing Section of Al Ain, explained that the drill falls in line with the commitment of Abu Dhabi Police to observe the highest safety standards and ensure the protection of staff members and customers. It also embodies the Abu Dhabi Police’s keenness to boost the readiness of staff members in handling possible accidents and emergencies to avoid their potential risks.
