The office of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior organized an induction workshop on the objectives, duties and procedures of the Inspector General’s office. The workshop was held at Umm Al Quwain Police General Headquarters.

Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior stressed the importance of the dissemination the methodology of self-inspection due to the role it plays in helping to improve the clients’ satisfaction through monitoring the observations and recommendations and the improvement opportunities by the police leaderships.

Furthermore, he said that the responsibilities of the immediate supervisor include following-up procedures and being present at the field, checking the efficiency and performance of all tasks and duties assigned to him, meeting the staff in order to know their needs and sharing ideas with them to improve the police work.

Colonel Nasser Mankush, Chief of Follow-up Section at the Inspector General’s office made a presentation about the importance of censorship in police work and detecting the pros and cons of the current organization, and proposing work quality development and improvement means.

Hel also talked about the specialties and objectives of internal audit represented in checking the Ministry’s formations commitment to data, laws, regulations and procedures in force, and identifying the risks when implementing plans and work programs.
