Brigadier Mohammed Obeid Al Dhaheri, Director General of Human Resources at Ministry of Interior, met with staff members enrolled in the second Creativity Development Program at Al Ittihad Hall at the Ministry of Interior’s headquarters. The program is organized by the Creativity and Leadership Development Center at the Ministry of Interior, at the General Secretariat of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior’s Office.

During the meeting, Brigadier Al Dhaheri stressed the ADP General Headquarters’ unrelenting attention and support to improve the abilities of citizens in general, including police staff members, in order to enable them to carry out their duties towards the country and society in the best possible way, by encouraging them to pursue further academic attainment and knowledge and to show innovation in the various professional and development areas.  He pointed out that the higher leadership has given top priority to enhance the skills of the human cadre, and provided them with the necessary resources for development and success.
 
Adding further, Brigadier Al Dhaheri said: “The Ministry of Interior constantly endeavors to support and motivate staff members in its quest to develop smart services and deliver them to the public in a streamlined manner, in order to allow all community segments to avail of these services.” He also stressed the ministry’s keenness to open new horizons for innovation and provide an environment that encourages creativity. “The ministry is also keen to improve the skills of human resources so as to enable them to carry out the tasks and duties entrusted to them and to maintain the security and stability enjoyed by our state,” he continued.

Brigadier Al Dhaheri urged staff members enrolled in the Program to leverage police leaders’ expertise, in order to develop their skills in a way that would help them to implement innovations that serve police work. He also provided examples of global experiences in this field.

In conclusion, Brigadier Al Dhaheri called upon the program’s candidates to put their talents to good use in order to develop police services, to comply with military discipline and to carefully examine decisions before implementing them. He then wished them the best of luck and success.
