The Ministry of Interior Ministry discussed the means of developing performance at the Ministry of Interior's Centers for Rehabilitation and Employment of people with special needs and the Community Police Section in Al Ain. This falls within the new administrative organization of departments.
Colonel Mubarak Awadh Mubarak bin Muhairom Al Ameri, Director General of Community Protection and Crime Prevention at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, met with officers from both entities to discuss the appropriate means of development. This personifies the strategy of the Ministry of Interior, aimed at encouraging innovation and creativity, and providing better policing, social and humanitarian services.
Colonel bin Muhairom toured the Ministry of Interior's Centers for Rehabilitation and Employment of people with special needs. He underlined the importance of developing improved training and rehabilitation mechanisms for people with special needs; providing then with job opportunities that are commensurate with their abilities and qualifications; helping them build solid families; and supporting them to become a positive and productive force that would contribute to the sustainable development process in the UAE.
Colonel bin Muhairom also toured the Community Police Affairs Section in Al Ain, where he reviewed the section's efforts in resolving community problems, implementing humanitarian initiatives and awareness campaigns and communicating with the citizens and residents of Al Ain city.
