MoI Council Calls to Strengthen Awareness about Police Services
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) Council, hosted by Khalid Bakhit bin Tannaf Al Menhali at his residence in the Baniyas region of Abu Dhabi, called to raise awareness in the community about the comprehensive range of Police services and their role in maintaining security and stability. The Council also recommended that awareness campaigns within educational institutions are increased, by coordinating with the MoI and its related bodies.
The Council is one of the gatherings organized by the Law Respect Culture Bureau, in cooperation with the Security Media Department. It was held at the General Directorate for Security Support, at the General Secretariat of the Office of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister, Ministry of Interior. The Council was moderated by Ali Al Shamesi, who called for the efficacy of the Parents Council in the educational institutions to be strengthened, in order to help and educate students about the laws and security.
The Council noted the development of comprehensive Police services in line with international standards. It also deemed more cooperation necessary between members of society and the Police, in order to educate them about how to report a crime, any suspicious act and any other incidences that could threaten their security and stability.
