Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, inaugurated an introductory workshop on the Business Continuity Management Project at Abu Dhabi Police at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The event was held with the participation of director generals, heads of departments, and a number of senior officers at the Abu Dhabi Police.

Major General Al Nuaimi stressed on the commitment of the higher leadership in implementing the most modern international systems in order to enhance efficiency and productivity in order to provide the most distinguished services for the public. He also expressed his gratitude for the director generals at the Abu Dhabi Police for their constructive efforts in developing and implementing projects.

The workshop addressed the objectives of implementing the Business Continuity Management Project including enabling all entities to provide basic services and their various conditions for citizens, residents, visitors, and employees. The workshop clarified the phases of the drafted project, the timetable for implementation, and the follow-up and implementation committees.

A presentation delivered by Major Obaid Abdullah Al Rumaithi, Director of the Business Continuity Initiative at the Strategy and Performance Development Department at Abu Dhabi Police addressed the scope of the project, its timeframe, and importance for the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters and the Government of Abu Dhabi.
