A delegation from the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) examined the experience of the Policies Section at the General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development at the Ministry of Interior. The delegation also got acquainted with the Section’s efforts to implement the best practices and standards that are espoused in the process to draft and develop policies.
During the meeting, Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, stressed the keenness to observe the directives issued by Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to transfer knowledge and exchange expertise with different ministries and institutions in the country to enhance performance, and achieve excellence and leadership.
The meeting was attended by Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General at the Ministry of Interior, along with a number of officers.
MajorSaeed Al Shamesi, Head of the Policies Section, gave an overview on the Ministry of Interior’s policy development experience, its definition, characteristics and importance in improving and promoting institutional performance. He then tackled the stages of policy development at the Ministry of Interior, and shed the light on some prototypes used for each different phase, and the latest achievements of the Policies Section.
Mohamed Al Hammadi, CEO of ENEC, and the accompanying delegation extended their thanks to the Ministry of Interior for its unrelenting and ongoing support to elevate Emirati institutions in the different fields of development and excellence.
