The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) recently celebrated the graduation of the participants of the Preparatory Research Program. The graduates of the program are members of the Studies and Surveys Center of the General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development in the General Secretariat of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

According to Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Director General of Strategy and Performance Development in the Ministry of Interior, such training programs are important in aiding and supporting the refinement of the employees’ skills, increasing levels of performance, and in achieving the aspirations of the police leadership.

The program was organized as per the strategic partnership between the Ministry of Interior and the ECSSR to qualify the human resources in the fields of work through training and upgrading their abilities.

The Preparatory Research Program was coordinated and prepared in cooperation between the Studies Branch of the Studies and Surveys Center of the General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development, and the ECSSR Training and Development Department. The program was based on the role of the “Emirates for Studies” in the support and development of work in the field of study preparation and analysis.

This training program is one of the specialized programs for national cadres in the Ministry of Interior and aims to familiarize them with the means of scientific research in political, economic, social, strategic and security fields. Throughout the training, the participants were equipped with the basic skills needed to conduct scientific research methodologies, to write professional specialized reports, and to prepare surveys.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Director General of Strategy and Performance Development in the Ministry of Interior; Mohamed Abdullah Al Ali, Deputy Director General for Financial and Administrative Affairs; and Abdullah Al Saadi, Acting Director of Surveys for the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research.
