A delegation from the Dubai Police General Headquarters visited the Government and Diplomatic Premises Protection Department at the Directorate General of Guards and Special Tasks of Abu Dhabi Police, to review the best practices achieved by the directorate in securing courthouses and courtrooms.

Colonel Saeed AtiqAl Afrit Al Kuwaiti, Acting Director of Government and Diplomatic Premises Protection Department said: “The visit reflects the Police General Headquarters’ keenness to cooperate and review the best practices applied in accordance with the highest international standards.”

The visiting delegation was briefed on the cutting-edge techniques used in the Government and Diplomatic Premises Protection operations to secure courthouses and courtrooms. The Department provides security and guard services to these premises, as well as to other vital facilities, such as ministries, hospitals, judicial departments among others; and undertakes security of diplomatic facilities, in continuous coordination with the specialized departments at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters.
