A delegation from the Directorate General of Airports Security at the Dubai Police General Headquarters visited the Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department affiliated to Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters. The visit falls in line with the visit exchange program between police entities in the country.
Brigadier Mohammed Saif Al Zaabi, Head of the Punitive and Correctional Establishments Department at Abu Dhabi Police, stressed the importance of such visits, which contribute to supporting expertise, knowledge transfer and reviewing new experiences.
The Dubai Police delegation was headed by First Lieutenant Ahmad Abdul Rahman Shahil, Chief of the Security Devices and Systems Section. The delegation toured the department and was acquainted with the security devices and systems, as well as the procedures, measures and programs used to secure and rehabilitate inmates.
Towards the end of the visit, both parties exchanged commemorative shields, in the presence of Colonel Ateeq Ibrahim Al Dhaheri, Deputy Head of the Punitive and Correctional Establishments Department at Abu Dhabi Police, and Colonel Saeed Obaid Makhluf Al Naqabi, Chief of Al Wathba Section.
