A delegation from Dubai Municipality visited the General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development at the Ministry of Interior (MoI), and was acquainted with the MoI’s experience in applying the Fourth Generation of the Governmental Excellence System.
Major General Dr. Abdul Quddous Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidly, Team Leader of the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program, convened with the Dubai Municipality delegation in the presence of Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General at the Ministry. During the meeting, he stressed the importance of cooperation between local ministries and departments to achieve the Federal Government’s directives.
This visit resulted from the Ministry’s eagerness to enhance mutual cooperation between the federal and local institutions and departments, which allows the exchange of knowledge and development of partnerships that fulfill the Federal Government’s vision and aspirations. The meeting also looked at ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Interior and Dubai Municipality in the field of quality and distinction.
The delegation, headed by Eng. Salah Amiri, Assistant Director General for the Environmental and Public Health Services Sector of Dubai Municipality, attended a presentation by Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Ali Abdullah Bin Daen Al Ghafli, Head of the Organizational Excellence Department at the MoI. The presentation discussed the MoI’s experience in applying the Fourth Generation of the new Governmental Excellence System, which constitutes a major step within the organizational excellence journey at the Ministry.
Both parties exchanged commemorative shields as the visit drew to a close.
