During a meeting with the UAE Police Sports Association, a delegation from the International Police Sports Union (USIP) discussed the preparations currently made by the UAE to host the second edition of the USIP World Police Games in Abu Dhabi in November 2017.

Colonel Mohammed Hamid Bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Police Sports Association and Vice President of the International Police Sports Union (USIP), briefed Colonel Khaled Ali Al Najjar, Deputy Secretary General and Head of the Presidential Office of USIP on the ongoing preparations and the measures taken by the Ministry of Interior to ensure the success of this prestigious international sporting event.

Both parties also discussed a variety of issues pertaining to the organization of the games, the technical aspects, and the measures that must be taken; in addition to laying down the event’s schedule.

The meeting was attended by Colonel Waleed Salem Al Shamesi, the Police College Director and member of the Technical Committee of USIP; Colonel Aref Al Rayes, Head of Police Sports Association Department, and Major Dr. Saud Al Junaibi, Head of the Sports Planning and Evaluation Section at USIP. Also present at the meeting were Lieutenant Colonel Tariq Salem Alsaddani, USIP Marketing and Public Relations Technical Director, and Lieutenant Colonel Badr Khubaizi, member of the USIP Technical Committee from the International Police Sports Union (USIP).

The USIP delegation also met with officials from the UAE Police Sports Association, to finalize the schedule and the different administrative, organizational, technical, legal, and media aspects for the event between now and November 2017.
