The Directorate General of Naturalization at the Ministry of Interior recently honored a large number of officers, non-commissioned officers, constables, civilians, female staff members and workers at the directorate and the various affiliated departments and sections at the countrywide level.  The ceremony, which was held at the Naturalization Residency and Ports Affairs Department’s main building, aims to recognize staff members’ efforts and dedication in discharging their duties in the best possible way.

In his speech, Brigadier Saeed Rakan Al Rashidi, Director General of Naturalization, said: “This accolade is a part of the annual program that honors distinguished employees and comes in response to the directives of the police leadership and the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Sectors’ strategy, which complements the Ministry of Interior’s strategy and approach aimed at motivating and encouraging staff members to elevate the level of police work”. He pointed out that the police leadership appreciates the efforts exerted by all of its staff members to develop and improve work and bring it to the highest levels. He called upon all staff members who have not been honored to make further efforts to deserve such recognition.  

Towards the end of the ceremony, Brigadier Saeed Al Rashidi presented appreciation certificates and gifts to the honorees.

The ceremony was attended by Colonel Suhail bin Kaltham Al Khaili, Deputy Director General of Naturalization for Investigation Affairs; Colonel Awad Ahmed Al Marar, Head of the Naturalization  and Passports Department at the Directorate General; along with heads of departments, chiefs of sections, and a number of officers at the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi.
