Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, recently inspected the workflow and services provided to customers by the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai.
Accompanied by Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Lt. General Al Sha’far inspected the various sectors and departments affiliated to the directorate and the Naturalization Department. He also reviewed the latest services offered by the Dubai Residency to customers in various fields; and called for maintaining excellence so as to reflect the Ministry of Interior’s strategy and vision in applying the best standards.
Moreover, Lt. General Al Sha’far toured the photo exhibition about the UAE martyrs at the Dubai Residency’s main building. The exhibition included 71 photos of the martyrs to commemorate their names, perpetuate their memory and appreciate the values of loyalty and benevolence that are deeply rooted in the UAE’s society.
Lt. General Al Sha’far stressed the importance of encouraging entrepreneurship, creativity, innovation and teamwork. He also stressed the need to identify customers’ needs, as well as taking their opinions and suggestions into account and striving to implement them. He called upon staff members to exert additional efforts to streamline customers’ transactions and provide them with distinguished services. He also urged them to show good manners when dealing with customers, according to the applicable rules and regulations.
On the other hand, Lt. General Al Sha’far honored First Lieutenant Ali Issa Abdul Karim Ali, Chief of the Air Control Section at the Dubai Airport affiliated to the Federal Violators and Foreigners Affairs sector at the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai in recognition of his efforts and cooperation in uncovering a fraud and impersonation case.
