Major General Jassem Muhammad Al Marzouqui, Civil Defense General Commander-in-chief in the Ministry of Interior, noted that the UAE’s achievements in the past 40 years are a vibrant model of innovation.
During his meeting held at Al Ittihad Hall at the Ministry of Interior’s headquarters, with the staff members enrolled in the second Creativity Development Program, organized by the Creativity and Leadership Development Center at the Ministry of Interior at the General Secretariat of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Major General Al Marzouqui talked about the attention extended by the leadership to the human element which is considered one of the main pillars of development and progress in the UAE. He also stressed the importance of training employees; spreading the creativity culture; promoting the management and transfer of knowledge; and motivating employees in order to increase their productivity and make them happy.
He noted that the Ministry’s methodology in dealing with its innovative staff members emanates from the police leadership’s keenness, attention and care extended to them with the aim to increase their efficiency through well designed programs based on the best international practices. He said that this aims to keep pace with the overall growth of the country in different fields, noting the development of services provided by the Ministry of Interior to the public.
He also mentioned the specifications and features of the innovative and creative institution, and shed light on the obstacles facing innovation and creativity that must be tackled. He said that the development process is not limited to a certain extent and creative attempts must be continued, noting that successful ideas must be adopted and applied to develop the police work and services provided to the public.
He called upon the staff members enrolled in the program to come up with innovative and unpredicted services for the public in different fields of security and police work; work with a team spirit; accept others’ opinions; seek new innovations because our country deserves all that we can give to preserve its security and stability; and achieve security and tranquility for its nationals and residents.
