In his office, Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaiaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs, met with a delegation from the General Department of Citizenship and Travel Documents at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior. The delegation was headed by Major General Mazen Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, the Interior Assistant Undersecretary of Citizenship and Passport Affairs.
During the meeting, both parties discussed methods of cooperation and coordination between the UAE and Kuwait in the fields of naturalization and passports.
The Kuwaiti delegation also reviewed the notable achievements of the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs in the UAE, and the strategic objectives of the sector. The delegation also reviewed key technologies utilized in the Sector’s work.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Saeed Rakan Al Rashedi, Head of Naturalization Department; Brigadier Suhail bin Kaltham Al Khaiaili, Deputy Director General of Naturalization for Investigation Affairs; and Colonel Khamis Mohammed Al Ka’bi, Legal Consultant to the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector.
The Kuwaiti delegation also visited the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi. They were received by Brigadier Yusuf Al Khouri, Deputy Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, and heads of departments.
During their visit, the delegation reviewed modern systems and programs adopted by the General Directorate, particularly those that provide services for citizens, residents, and visitors. These technologies aim to facilitate the provision of services quickly. The delegation also toured the customer service halls to see services provided for the public first-hand.
