Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General at the Ministry of Interior, hosted a ceremony to award a number of officers working at the directorate with their new ranks. The officers were promoted by virtue of the Ministerial Resolution that Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has recently issued.

During the ceremony, which was held at the officers’ lounge at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ), Colonel Al Dhaheri extended his congratulations to the promoted officers. He also praised their unrelenting efforts to implement development projects at the ministry, and to fulfill their job requirements in the best possible way.

Adding further, he said: “This promotion reflects the higher leadership's care and attention towards its citizens and its commitment to acknowledge their continuous and unwavering efforts and loyalty to enhance security and safety across the country and to preserve the national gains.”

Colonel Al Dhaheri noted that the Abu Dhabi Police have an elite group of distinguished staff members, capable of assuming the burdens and the increasing security responsibilities of the police force in an honorable way. He also urged the officers to exert additional efforts and dedication, so as to continue to improve police work.

For their part, the promoted officers expressed their happiness for this recognition, stressing that it represents an incentive for them to exert further efforts in the service of the country.
