The ambulance crews at the Air Wing Section in the Northern Emirates, affiliated with the Directorate General of Security Support, the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior, rescued two people, who sustained injuries in two separate traffic accidents in Sharjah.
In the first incident, the ambulance staff arrived at the location after receiving a report of the accident on Sunday at 11:35 a.m. They treated a person who sustained injuries in a car accident on an external road in the Maliha area in Sharjah. The next day, the section provided aid to an injured person in the Al Badayer area at 11:00 a.m. In both cases, the injured were given first aid and proper medical assistance until their conditions were stabilized, and then transferred to Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah.
The Air Wing Section in the Northern Emirates performs specialized operations such as providing air ambulances, search and rescue, aerial photography and road surveillance services.
