The Training Department at the Directorate General of Human Resources, Abu Dhabi Police organized a death investigation training course, which was attended by 15 officers.
The participants in the course reviewed the forensic techniques and criminal investigation programs used to process all types of violent crimes; victim identification in mass-casualty incidents (MCIs) and DNA analysis. They also discussed selected topics in the field of criminal police investigations.
Lt. Colonel Thomas Hausberger, Security Attaché at the German Embassy in the UAE, praised the vital role of the Training Department at the Abu Dhabi Police. He commended the department’s efforts to provide unique training courses and programs in various policing areas and enhance liaison and cooperation with the security authorities at the German Ministry of Interior and the German police districts.
