The Traffic and Patrols Directorate at the Directorate General of Central Operations at the Abu Dhabi Police has intensified traffic control measures around slaughterhouses in order to enable the traffic flow for those wishing to enter and exit the premises. The campaign, which will reduce the overall traffic congestion near the slaughterhouses, is held on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr with the intention to enhance public safety for all. This step falls in line with the “Your Safety” campaign by the Security Media Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Colonel Mahmoud Yusuf Al Bloushi, Chief of the Protocols and Tasks at the Traffic and Patrols Directorate, urged motorists against haphazardly parking their cars around the slaughterhouses to avoid obstructing traffic movement. He urged them to park properly, so that they and others will be able to enter and exit easily without delay given the density of traffic.

Col. Al Bloushi called on the motorists to abide by the traffic laws and speed limits, especially on internal and external roads and near commercial centers; to leave a sufficient distance of safety between vehicles; and to abide by the instructions of traffic policemen who monitor and organize the traffic movement around slaughterhouses.
