Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, accompanied by Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services, recently decorated a number of officers at Abu Dhabi Police with new ranks as per the Ministerial Decree No. 396 of 2015.

The Secretary General congratulated the newly promoted officers at the Finance and Services Directorate General and urged them to exert further efforts in discharging their duties. He also called on them to develop and hone their competencies through training and keeping abreast of the latest developments in their respective fields, as well as the developments taking place in the police and security work.

Adding further, Major General Al Nuaimi said that this promotion is considered an incentive for all to exert further efforts and contributions in order to serve the homeland. He also urged them to maintain continuous excellence and innovation, follow up on the latest developments, and contribute to the process of police work in accordance with highly advanced standards. “This reflects the vision of the higher leadership which always motivates us to better serve the public and upgrade work quality as per the best advanced international standards,” he noted.

For his part, Major General Badran underscored the keenness of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to motivate officers and police staff members to develop their abilities and improve work performance, so as to maintain excellence and quality.  This policy has enabled Abu Dhabi Police to be at the forefront of the outstanding institutions and to keep pace with the excellence and development process.

He also pointed out that the Abu Dhabi Police continuously endeavors towards establishing an integrated system focused on implementing internationally sophisticated standards; urging the officers to contribute efficiently to the progress witnessed by the UAE in all areas. He also lauded their excellence in discharging the duties entrusted to them and in improving the quality of services in police work.
