72 staff members of the Directorate General of Police Operations graduated from the Investigation System Development Course organized by the Abu Dhabi Police. The course duration was for one year.

Major General Omair Muhammad Al Muhairi, Director General of Police Operations at Abu Dhabi Police distributed the certificates on the graduates. The graduation ceremony was attended by Brigadier Dr. Rashid Mohammad Borshid, Head of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ; Colonel Ahmed Saif bin Zeitoun Al Muhairi, Acting Director of the Capital Police Directorate; and a number of police officers.

Major General Al Muhairi praised the commitment of the course attendees to benefit from the course, and search for opportunities that enable continuous development. He also called upon them to be distinguished role models by suggesting ideas that further advance performance and services, as well as foster public trust in the police services.

In his speech at the ceremony that was held at the Capital Police Directorate; Major General Al Muhairi said: “the success base of any developmental process is the belief enjoyed by work teams in continuous development and advancement, with the aim to realize best outcomes. Success is the manifestation of all members’ belief in the importance of development and excellent performance by working as a united team.”

It is worth mentioning that the course attendees have received training on best methods of investigation based on international theories and sciences. The course objective was to provide members with quality experience by refining their skills and developing their performance. This aims to realize continuous improvement in order to foster the civilized image of the Abu Dhabi Police, as well as to implement crime prevention strategy and foster security and stability as main bases of proceeding with the comprehensive development and growth plans.
