MoI Visits Sick Children at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City

A delegation from the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) visited sick children at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) in Abu Dhabi. The delegation offered gifts to patients, wishing them a speedy recovery.

Colonel Obaid Al Zaabi, Acting Director of the Public Relations Department explained that this visit reflects the Abu Dhabi Police eagerness to strengthen relations and interaction with various segments of society. “It also aims to promote proper societal-values based communication between the Ministry and various civil institutions,” he said.

Colonel Al Zaabi also pointed out that the initiative falls within both the overall strategy objectives pursued by the Ministry, and constructive social initiatives that highlight the role of the Public Relations Department in providing assistance and moral support for all segments of society. “These visits play a part in cheering up the patients, to encourage them and to lift their spirits,” he added.

Towards the end of the visits, the MoI and Sheikh Khalifa Medical City exchanged plaques and certificates of appreciation.
