Abu Dhabi Police wins “Stevie” awards in executive leadership and IT
 
 

Abu Dhabi Police GHQ won the Stevie Award, one of the premier business awards programs which recognize achievement in every facet of work life.

Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, director of Human Resources won the award of the best executive leadership in the field of human resources.
The second award went to Lt. Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Zaabi, deputy director of IT and Communications Department in TETRA.
 
Three other Abu Dhabi Police officers won three honorees medals; the awards have been won by Colonel Abdul Hakim Al Suwaidi, from the Police Operation General Directorate, for his role in customer service, and by Major Bashar Khalil Badran, from the human resources general directorate, for his role in administrative support in the field of o strategic planning.

According to the Award’s timetable, the winners will be honored during the 8th annual gala ceremony to be hosted by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade at Emirates Palace next October.

The achievement underlines the country’s competitive and unique business climate, which has made it one of the world’s top three countries in business and commerce, preceded only by the United States that won first place with 42 prizes, and South Korea that won 29,

Michael Gallagher, president of The Stevie Awards stated that these awards are an accurate indication to measure organizational excellence in accordance with the international levels. Stevie Awards recognizes annually the elite leaders and local and foreign institutions, recognizing their valuable contributions to their communities.
It is noted that, the award gala will be held for the first time in UAE.

The American Business Awards, nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word 'crowned,' are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business.
