The Abu Dhabi Police play a humanitarian role in the
community by ensuring quick response in case of accidents, especially while
taking the injured to hospitals, Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al-Dhaheri,
Director-General of Central Operations at the Abu Dhabi Police, pointed out.
The Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing had undertaken 90 aerial
humanitarian missions last year, which included flying critically injured
patients to hospitals, he revealed.
The Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing performed all the assigned
missions, including the rescue and aerial ambulance missions, with high level
of efficiency and professionalism, using aircrafts that were equipped with
advanced life-saving devices and had qualified medical staff.
The department performed 1,754 aerial missions last year,
which were carried out by highly qualified and professional pilots in the UAE,
Brigadier Ali Al Mazrouie, Head of the Air Wing, Abu Dhabi Police, affirmed.
They performed their duties responsibly, with assistance
from the medical and rescue staff, he added.
