The public attracted to the social support competition and emergency play

 

The Capital Police Directorate (CPD) will commemorate the sixth anniversary of the death of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan, the former President and founder of the UAE (May his soul rest in eternal peace).

The Directorate, for this occasion, has prepared an integrated programme to mark the achievements and deeds of the founding leader at the 2nd Ramadan Tent Forum, organized by CID in collaboration with Al Hilal Bank (Exclusive Sponsor), and a number of public and private sectors institutions and agencies.

The programme will include the showing of a 3D movie about the late President’s career, Zayed Cares, poetry and a movie by Abu Dhabi Municipality about the founder’s life.

The audience interacted with competitions of the past evening presented by the Department of Social Support Centers after showing a movie containing useful information, which included the answers to the competition’s questions.

The General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments presented a competition containing a number of questions about the concept of Islamic Affairs and Endowment and the services and activities of the Authority in the country.

The Department of Emergency and Public Safety staged a play about first aid to raise public awareness about how to deal with emergencies
