The Law Respect Culture Office at the Secretariat General of the Office of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, commended the UAE Football Association’s initiative to adopt, on its website, the terms of the Ministry’s brochure entitled: “Your Sportsmanship Spirit”, to facilitate the public’s access to the brochure’s content.

The Law Respect Culture Office had recently published the abovementioned brochure in Arabic and English, to encourage civilized cheering and to promote legal culture between sports fans in stadiums, to guarantee the success of sporting events and rallies.

Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Salah Obeid Al Ghoul, Director of Law Respect Culture Office stated: “Publishing ‘Your Sportsmanship Spirit’ brochure on the UAE Football Association’s website contributes in spreading it over the net, and in promoting community awareness, thanks to the specialized legal advice it provides regarding the ideal civilized cheering in stadiums.”

Al Ghoul reiterated the Law Respect Culture Office’s commitment to participate in the different legal and social events, in line with the Office’s strategy to communicate with different bodies, to increase the level of legal awareness between the various components of society.

He added that: “the ‘Your Sportsmanship Spirit’ brochure is aimed at the sports public, from all ages, to increase the level of legal awareness among the fans and educate future generations on legal mass culture, and achieve the desired goals and aspirations to enjoy tournaments and championships, and promote civilized cheering.”

He stressed that the legal culture in stadiums is an integrated joint process involving the police, fans and parents. He also called upon families to instill the spirit of civilized cheering in their children, and encourage them to accept results without any violations of the law.

According to Al Ghoul, publishing the brochure on the UAE Football Association’s website guarantees the rapid wide spread of the legal product, allowing the largest possible number of people to browse the site and get acquainted with what it has to offer in regards to the legal culture of sportsmanship.
