Kerala Home Minister lauds ADP strategy

 

Major General Khaleel Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at ADP received on Thursday, Mr. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, the Home Minister of Kerala State in India and the accompanying delegation, with the presence of other senior officers of ADP.

Both sides discussed issues of mutual interests with regard to policing and how to boost cooperation between ADP and Kerala State Police.

Then Major General Khaleel Dawood Badran accompanied the guest and his delegation on a tour to different departments of ADP GHQ. The tour included the Department of Strategy and Performance Development. Lt. Colonel Fayssal Sultan Al Shuaibi, Director of the Department briefed the guests on ADP strategic vision which was initiated by HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. The strategy is being implemented successfully at all ADP Directorates, Departments and Sections. The visiting minister expressed his high appreciation of ADP strategic vision and development achieved in all areas.

The visiting minister also reviewed the tasks and achievements of the Community Police Department, work mechanisms at the Department of Central Operations, Forensic Laboratories, Iris Scan Technology now in use at all the UAE airports and border outlets, as part of security measures.

At the end of the visit Mr. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan lauded ADP operational abilities and capabilities and its civilized dealing with all foreign communities in the country.

The visiting minister was accompanied during the visit by the Indian Ambassador to the UAE Mr. M.K.Lokesh, Mr. M.A.Yusuf Ali, Managing Director of the EMKE Group of Companies and a number of Indian Embassy senior officials. Then both sides exchanged mementos.
