700 cadets and university graduates at the Police College formed a human union tree, reflecting their pride and sense of national affiliation.

The human painting, signed by a human Union Tree word, represents the seven emirates.
The students asserted their readiness to exert further efforts, to achieve excellence and leadership in the progress and development process; and to protect the nation at any cost. They also vowed to be loyal to the Higher Leadership and the nation.

The event was part of the UAE 41st National Day celebrations held at the Police College GHQ in Abu Dhabi, and was attended by officers, non-commissioned officers, staff, cadets, university graduates and members of teaching and training faculty at the College.

The ceremony was also attended by Colonel Seif Ali Al ketbi, Director General of the Police College, alongside department directors, heads of sections, and officers, in addition to the Director and students of the Al Rou’ia Secondary Private School in Abu Dhabi.

In his address, Al Ketbi indicated that the UAE 41st National Day is a significant occasion to all citizens and residents in this country. It also expresses the citizens’ love for their leader.
 
He stressed the importance of cohesion among all segments of society to express joy on this National Day. He called on them to exert further efforts to “instill the concept of the Union in the hearts of all citizens; to promote love and dedication for its soil, to protect its achievements and maintain capabilities, so the country remains strong, proud and generous towards its citizens and residents.”

Concluding, Director General of Police College expressed his heartfelt congratulations and blessings to the Higher Leadership on this great national occasion.

The ceremony, which was held in the Training Field at the Police College, included a number of events and cultural, sports and military activities, namely; the cross country competition; the tug of war contest; the 400 meters relay race; the silent pedestrian march; the shooting competition; and the weapons assembly and disassembling. The celebration also included a cultural competition for the public and the cadets. Poems were also recited, expressing the joys of such a glorious occasion. All Police College staff and faculty took part in those events.

At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Al Ketbi honored winners of the competitions and the distinguished staff and lecturers.
