Company impressed by Police rehabilitation programs
The department of correctional and punitive institutions is constantly trying to improve its rehabilitation programs to ensure the convicts are well prepared to re-adjust in the society after their release.
This was stated by Brigadier Usef Abdul Karim Al Ahemedi of the department at the general headquarters of Abu Dhabi police while talking to a delegation from MTC, an American company specializing in prisons management at his office in al wathba prison .The MTC visit was a part of exchanging expertise with related agencies.
The delegation was briefed about the various rehabilitation programs being run by CPI on the basis of religious principles and international norms.
Later the delegation toured the various sections of the department and got acquainted with programs and services provided to the inmates.
The delegation members said they were quite impressed by the care and attention, the inmates were accorded by the programs and the high standard of the departments rehabilitation programs
