UNDP praises Abu Dhabi Police
The United Nations development program praised Abu Dhabi police for organizing a two day workshop on Aids in the Arab world, last month.
Officials from HIV /Aids regional program in the Arab states HARPAS, UNDP had participated in the work shop which was organized by the health services department of Abu Dhabi police under the patronage of His Highness Lt.Gen.Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Interior.
In a statement UNDP representative said that the workshop proved the social commitment of Abu Dhabi police and its concern about the health issues facing the region. The work shop arrived at certain recommendations to be implemented for preventing the menace of the dangerous diseases.
