UAE prepare for any potential disaster
The UAE is gearing up to meet any challenges of potential disasters, natural or man made according to a senior official of the Ministry of Interior.
Brigadier Khalid Al Dosari, director of the emergency and public safety department of the Abu Dhabi Police suggested that a unified disaster management team for the GCC countries to be set up to effectively handle such emergencies. A three day forum will discuss and conduct workshops to develop skills and create teams to manage any disasters.
The forum will also have practical sessions involving real situations of emergencies like handling of injured, evacuation and crisismanagent implementations.
