Three arrested for stealing briefcase with DH 230,000
 
Police arrested three men on charges of stealing a briefcase containing 230,000dhs from a resident on Thursday.
 
Major General Saeed Obaid Al Mazroui, Deputy Commander in Chief of Abu Dhabi Police said the tree men closely watched the victim as he went to a money exchange. The men reportedly punctured the victim’s car with a knife and followed him as he drove to his office. Noticing the car was punctured the victim stopped the car and got out of it when the three men offered him their help in changing the tire.
 
As they stared changing the tire one of the men asked the victim to get a stone to stop the car moving. it was this time the tyro took the brief case and vanished. Major General Mazroui said that Lt.Gen.Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior, ordered the formation of a special team to investigate the crime and bring the criminals to book.
 
Two of the men were arrested from Sharjah within 25 hours of the theft and another soon after. The suspects were identified by the victim on an identification line up said Major General Mazroui.
