The Western region Police continues awareness programmes
The Western Region Police Directorate continues its awareness programmes within the activities of the 2nd Water Sport Festival held at the Region.
Police cultural and heritage competitions attract big turnout at Al Marfaa Corniche. Police activities are carried out during evenings and many prizes and gifts are given away to the winners.
Colonel Hamad Saeed Al Dhahri, Director of the Directorate said" The Directorate is prepared to receive the biggest number of the public during week end. Number of patrols on roads and the Festival locations will be increased to maintain order and provide safety and security for all".
Al Dhahri urges the public to cooperate with police elements at the suite of the Festival and roads leading to it.
Public members express their appreciation of the educational role of the police Directorate, the services it delivers to the public and its keenness to communicate with the public through different activities. The Festival is expected to attract bigger turnout durin the week end.
