Tariff Police prepares for the International sand doons Championship in Tai Mureb

The Tariff Police department of the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police has made all the preparations to facilitate the international sand Dunes racing champion ship that is being held from 8-9 Feb. in Tal Mureb desert in the western region.
The champion ship is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister for the Presidential affairs.
Specking about the preparations made by the Tariff Police to facilitate such an international championship ,Brigadier Mohammed Butti Al Rumaithi ,Director of the Tariff Police department, said that all the facilities have been set up to assure the success of the championship and also to assure the safety of the participants.
Elaborating the arrangements Brigadier Al Rumaithi said that the police patrols have been posted at all the important routs to provide guidance, information and any other assistance that either the participants or the visitors to the championship may need.
He also said that hosting of such international events helps to boost the tourism industry in our country and it is our primary duty to assure the safety of the participants and provide them with all the facilities for enjoying the race and their pleasant stay in UAE, he added.
Brigadier Al Rumaithi called upon the participants to cooperate with the Police by adhering to the safety regulations, using only permitted routs, avoiding risks, use the maps and seek the police any assistance when ever it is needed and make the event a grant success. He added.
