Taking part at the Mazainah camel beauty contest, community police sets up a tent for participants to discus their problems
Abu Dhabi police GHQ represented in the Western Region Police Directorate participates at Al Mazainah Camel Beauty Contest at Al Dhafera for the year 2008 which is being held under the auspices of General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces.
Captain Saeed Suhail , Head of Media and Public Relation section at the Western Region Police Directorate stressed the keenness of Abu Dhabi Police represented in its various departments and sections on taking part in different occasions and activities in the community by way of removing barriers between the police and different community categories. Its participation in this festival is considered one form of communication and interaction between the two sides.
He explained that the Community Police Branch in coordination with the Media and Public Relations have established two tents: one for men and the other for women at the venue based in Madinat Zayed. Dates, Arab coffee and refreshments were presented for the guests and visitors. The two tents were used to introduce the role and goals of community police.
