Summer course for students
A ceremony was held at Al Rahba Police Station here yesterday to mark the opening of a summer training course for the students. Senior police officers attended the ceremony.
As many as 21 students will be attending the course, which aims at underscoring the role of police in interacting with the community.
The training programme is designed to bring the police and the citizens closer. Captain Humaid Al Afari, Acting Head of Al Rahba Police Station, welcoming the participants said the programmes would help them upgrade their skills and enhance their knowledge about police work.
