Sheikh Saif visits cyclone affected areas in Fujairah
His Highness Lt.Gen.Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited the cyclone affected areas in Fujairah to oversee the rescue and rehabilitation of the affected people.
Sheikh Saif was accompanied by senior officers from the General headquarters. Sheikh Saif lauded the efforts of security and rescue teams for providing timely assistance and securing people and property from any serious damages.
Many parts of the costal areas were affected by flood and people were evacuated to safer places were temporary shelters have been set up. Sheikh Saif said that no effort will be spared for giving all the necessary assistance to the affected people.
Sheikh Saif, who was accompanied by Health Minister Humaid Al Qattami and other officials, toured schools and colleges which were used as temporary shelters for the families. He was also briefed on the operations by rescue teams in the affected areas.
