Sheikh Saif honours members of UAE search and rescue team
The Minister of Interior General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed al Nahyan honoured the UAE search and rescue team which participated in search and rescue operations in Pakistan in the wake of devastating earthquake that hit some areas of the country. The UAE team comprising of the Abu Dhabi and Dubai Police personnel rescued four people alive and evacuated hundreds of bodies buried under the debris of the destroyed buildings
The UAE team was the first to reach in Pakistan and worked non stop for six days until chances to recover more survivors began to diminish.
The team was honoured by Lt.Gen.Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Interior, for their noble and successful mission at a felicitation ceremony held in their honoured at the general headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police.
